The Dine South Barbados program, a promotional campaign which was started last year by a group of restaurants on the island’s south coast in response to a fall-off in patronage due to the sewage problems in the area, is back this year.
Dine South is once again being spearheaded by Lisa Taylor of Naru Restaurant, who said the participating restaurants had been pleased the interest from corporate Barbados, adding that “We hope to see Dine South grow from year to year.”
This year’s programme features more restaurants, a longer promotion period, more Discount partners and more ways to win prizes, she said.
The Dine South partner restaurants are Bubba’s Sports Bar, Buzo, Castaways, Jake’s, Naru Restaurant & Lounge, Salt Café, Tapas, Urban Kitchen, Chutney’s, RB’s Rotisserie and Wok Up.
Once persons dine at a participating restaurant, they will receive a Dine South passport and the corresponding stamp. They can collect all the stamps in the passports to win a dining journey for 2, a staycation for 2 at Ocean’s 2 Resort or a cruise for 2 on board the Carnival Fascination cruise ship.Diners have until November 30th to complete their culinary journey on the south coast.
