Cable & Wireless Communications has launched a product aimed at Small & Medium-sized Enterprises of five to 25 people. Titled Flow Business, the new product has been introduced by C&W Business to help local businesses benefit from better connectivity, simplified packages, improved product customization options and around-the-clock client support, the company said in a press release.
Jenson Sylvester, Country Manager of Flow Barbados and Head of B2B for the Southern Caribbean said Cable & Wireless recognised the significant contribution of local businesses to the overall development of Barbados’ economy and Flow Business would redefine the company’s support for this important segment which overall made a massive contribution to Barbados’ GDP.
He said the new product’s hallmarks would be simplicity, transparency and what he called “market-leading combinations of superfast broadband and reliable voice connections,”
With Flow Business, the company is offering two new product packages - ‘Essential’ and ‘Advanced’.
The ‘Essential’ package includes both business broadband and voice products, with a download speed of up to 300Mbps and an upload speed of 100Mbps. It also features flexible call forwarding and automated interactive call answering and assistance via a mobile app, which means business owners aren’t tied to a desk or counter and can take customer calls on the go.
The ‘Advanced’ package also includes broadband and voice products, with a more advanced download speed of up to 600Mbps and an upload speed of 250Mbps. As well as including all the benefits of the ‘Essential’ package, ‘Advanced’ can power customer hotspots for local businesses, and the built-in Business Voice Collaboration product lets business host conference calls easily.
Mr. Sylvester said the company had taken the insights from itscustomer research and used it to develop iFlow Business. He added that all business clients would now be assigned a dedicated service manager who will be their single point of contact at all times.
The launch of Flow Business comes less than six months after Cable & Wireless introduced its ‘Onward’ and ‘Upward’ consumer bundles in April as part of the company’s commitment to delivering what it termed simplicity, transparency and value for customers.
