Ban on drones extended
Aug 20, 2019

The ban on drones has been extended in Barbados for another year, effective April 1.

This suspension has been in place since March 1, 2016, and the new administration says he Ministry of Tourism and International Transport is actively working on new legislative to regulate the usage of drones.

So, in the meantime, the temporary suspension on the importation and licensing of remotely piloted aircraft systems remains in force, with temporary exemptions possible only on a case by case basis for drones which are imported and exported immediately after usage.
